Parmeshwarya Adya Bhagat is a student at DPS RK Puram, New Delhi, where she studies Economics, Mathematics, Psychology, Computer Science, and English. She has always been passionate about equity and social justice, particularly in the global South context, and is keen to explore interdisciplinary nuances associated with long-term socioeconomic development.

Parmeshwarya had a transformative experience interning at Chintan Environmental Research and Action Group in 2023, where she contributed to various projects aimed at empowering women and children in underserved communities. This experience inspired her to think deeper about the intersections of gender, economics, and labor, and she has recently started authoring articles on women and work in varied Indian contexts. 

At school, Parmeshwarya is an enthusiastic member of the Expressions Theatre Club, staging plays and participating in citywide theater competitions regularly. She also has an affinity towards classical music, and has been learning piano for the past 6 years.
